I swear…

I swear by the life of my little children…

Have you notice that people who swear are the ones who usually have a problem fulfilling their promises?

A person of character does not need to swear to make her words heard.

The words of a person with character have weight because she always does what she says.

This verse I read right in the beginning of my conversion:

Matthew 5:36-37

36 Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. 37 But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.

A person of God has character, is decisive and is faithful to her words regardless of the circumstances.

First time I heard about water baptism I was convinced and convicted that I needed it.  Not to acquire a religion but because I was a sinner and I was willing to let go of my past life.  I knew this was a life time commitment.  I was decided to change.

Indecision is the prove that satan is still the owner of a person’s life.

Many years ago, there was a lady who manifested with an evil spirit in the church and as the pastor was praying there was another lady, who always sat in the front seat of the church, stretching her hands to send fire on the demon and the demon embarrassed her saying: “You can burn me here inside, but outside I am the one who is burning you…”, he went on telling a list of the wrong things she was doing outside the church.

Galatians 6:7-8

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

How about you?  How have you been living your life outside the church?

People who are indecisive in their faith, they are playing with God and also with the devil.

My dear friend, you don’t want to play with God, because He cannot be mocked, but trust me you don’t want to play with the devil neither.  At least I would hope so…

Amen ma’am Sonia, Never swear in anything because failing to fulfill an oath would be taking God in vain.

God is faithfull to those who are faithfull to Him. In the same way what we asked is what we received and what we reap is depending on what seeds we are sowing.
